Activities
No matter the time of year, something fun always happens here. Whether you want to experience everything northern Minnesota has to offer outside or simply want a quiet escape indoors, we have you covered.
In the winter and early spring, guests especially love the large outdoor hot tub at NorthPark, ice skating rinks, sledding hill, horse-drawn wagon rides, and snowmobile rentals.
As long as there is snow, the Winter Recreation Center at The Pines golf course is also open, where there are 8km of groomed trails for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Our friendly team members will help you rent complimentary skis and snowshoes.
After you’re done on the trails, stick around for a beverage and something to eat at Freddy’s Sports Grill, or groove your golf swing on our state-of-the-art golf simulator. Make your tee times here.
Another fun indoor activity being offered this spring is the Traveling Art Pub. With an experienced artist as your guide, get your creative juices flowing while you enjoy a beverage and create an original piece of art. Traveling Art Pub classes will be offered on March 18th and 25th, as well as April 1st and 8th.

The Northwoods Pub in the lower-level of the Main Lodge and Freddy’s Sports Grill across the street at The Pines are great options if you want a more casual meal. Freddy’s offers tasty specials every Friday and Saturday, giving you even more reasons to make the short walk.
You’ll also love the igloos located on the patio behind the Main Lodge and over at The Pines. They are perfect for a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends! This one-of-a-kind experience allows you to experience the beautiful outdoor scenery in the warm confines of our custom-built igloos.
