The PGA staff at Grand View Lodge is ready to help you play your best golf. Throughout the season we offer private lessons, junior golf camps, beginner nights, and multiple clinics covering all aspects of the game. Our team of teachers is proud to offer some of the best golf instruction in the area, and implement tour quality launch monitor technology, as well as video analysis, to break down your swing and more efficiently find and repair the flaws in your game. As instructors our team is always adding new equipment, technology, as well as ideas to help our students improve as much as possible. From full swing to short game, beginner to scratch, our instructional team at Grand View Lodge is here to get you playing your best golf, and most of all, have you enjoying the game of golf.

The Pines is offering an introduction to the game of golf for kids ages 4-10. The juniors receive a fun hour of instruction and free fitted junior club to take home. Juniors are welcome to come have fun at 1, 2 or all 3 sessions. At each session they will receive a different club.

$60 per session | $30 per session (no free golf club)
You may register for 1 session to see if your child enjoys the program, then register for the others at a later date.

Session I Wednesday, June 5th | 5:30-6:30pm
Session II Wednesday, July 3rd | 5:30-6:30pm
Session III Wednesday, August 7th | 5:30-6:30pm

The Teaching Professional at Grand View Lodge will conduct a 5 session program that will cover the fundamentals of the game. Each session will include instruction, fun games or contests, prizes and 5 hours of course time. On the last day, the juniors will be able to take what they learned to the course at the Pines golf course. We encourage all levels to participate in both sessions.

Ages 8-14 | $150 per session or $250 for both

  • Full game assessment (flight scope for long game, sort game scoring)
  • Prizes for largest improvement throughout series
  • Improved scoring with wedges (bunker play, pitching, chipping, short side)
  • Putting (distance control, green reading, ball position and alignment)
  • Understanding and implementing the rules of golf
  • Club gapping and understanding of average distance per club
  • Importance of grip posture and alignment (GPA) and moving past that
