About Nick Goldschmidt
Born in New Zealand and educated across Australasia, Nick Goldschmidt is a world-renowned winemaker who has called Sonoma County home since 1990. His illustrious career includes serving as the winemaker for Simi Winery at just 27 years old, as well as managing global winemaking for major estates like Allied Domecq and Beam Wine Estates. In 2008, he launched Goldschmidt Vineyards to focus on producing world-class, site-specific wines from premier vineyards around the globe. Known as a "local legend" in Sonoma, Nick is deeply passionate about conservative farming practices and is celebrated by peers and enthusiasts alike for his wealth of knowledge and his infectious, fun-loving personality.
