Whether she is organizing women's leagues, running tournaments or styling the golf shop, Ashley brings vibrant energy to every aspect of the golf experience. Her passion is infectious, and her heart is firmly rooted in community.
A Dream Realized
Ashley joined Grand View Lodge just over a year ago, but her connection to the resort runs deep. She fondly recalls her first visit to The Pines clubhouse, where she thought, "I love this place. I want to work here someday." That dream has now become her reality.
Originally from East Bethel, Minnesota, Ashley spent nearly a decade designing kitchens and bathrooms while coordinating women's golf leagues in the Twin Cities. Golf has always been a part of her life, largely thanks to her parents. Her mother especially ignited her passion for the game. "My mom is the reason I golf," Ashley shares. "She always made me ride along in the cart, whether I wanted to or not."
Creating Community Through Golf
Grand View Lodges offers women's leagues, which Ashley manages. Every June, Ashley coordinates a beloved annual women's golf tradition known as "The Bugs," which stands for Between Us Girls. This special group consists of 36 women aged 25 to 85, who have gathered for an annual golf getaway at Grand View Lodge for 36 years.
Ashley reflects on this unique experience, saying, "It's amazing because everyone just gets along like we're the same age. We're all just best friends." This vibrant sense of community is something Ashley fosters for both Grand View guests and local golfers.
Among her favorite events is Thursday night's "Hole in Wine," a social nine-hole scramble league inviting golfers of all skill levels. Ashley describes it as an opportunity for women to come out for a fun night. "Some people are competitive, but most are there to laugh, support local businesses, and spend time together." This league regularly attracts over 65 women each week, providing a welcoming environment for locals and guests alike.
In addition to leagues and events, Ashley helps with merchandise at both The Pines and The Preserve Pro Shops. This season's offerings feature premium brands such as Daily Sport and Adidas, as well as popular Minnesota-based apparel brand UNRL and the new Sun Day Red collection from Tiger Woods.

When she's not on the course, Ashley enjoys spending time with her Goldendoodle, Piper. She loves reading mystery novels on her Kindle and unwinding with episodes of Friends after long summer days at the resort.
