The spa ushered in its 20th year of business after completing a renovation and expansion in 2022, transforming the already full-service spa into a total well-being destination. New amenities such as an outdoor hot tub with fireplace, a Himalayan salt room, a co-ed steam room and sauna, locker rooms, and additional relaxation areas were added. Guests have fallen in love with the updated finishings, new relaxing areas, and enhanced amenities.

Anniversary Celebration
From May 15 to June 15, guests can enjoy 10 upgraded Monday - Thursday services such as a platinum relaxation massage, Himalayan Salt Detox Soak, or Grand Body Exfoliation. All services include a complimentary Halotherapy (salt) session and full use of the steam room, sauna, and outdoor hot tub. Guests can also enjoy 20% off any additional spa services purchased. The most exciting aspect of the 20-year celebration, for a limited time from May 15 – June 15, the spa is going all-out by offering 20 for 20! Buy out the entire spa for a day for $20,000 with up to 20 of your friends or family. You and your party can choose four distinct spa sessions plus a halotherapy session to create the spa day of a lifetime.
On top of access to the entire spa and all amenities, you will also receive a welcome gift bag, spa brunch/lunch with bubbly refreshments, and afternoon English tea. We'll refresh you and your guests with coffee, tea, and water throughout the day.

Glacial Waters Spa DRIVE FOR THRIVE Golf Tournament
The Grand View Lodge GVL THRIVE program is a partnership with the INDY Foundation that allows cancer warriors across the state of Minnesota a reprieve from their battles at Grand View Lodge. Each cancer thriver is donated a three-day stay to enjoy with friends and family. The Glacial Waters Spa is honored to organize a 9-hole women's golf tournament on June 12, with proceeds donated to the INDY Foundation. Register here.
Refreshed Branding
A refreshed, modern logo will also usher in the next 20 years. The updated logo inspires the tranquil feel of the spa with elements that still reflect the restorative properties of the mineral-rich lakes of the Brainerd Lakes Area. A "GW" monogram adorns the top of the logo and can also be used separately on apparel and merchandise.
