Stand up paddleboarding, or in the Hawaiian language "hoe he'e nalu", has been building in popularity all over the world. Grab a paddleboard from the boathouse and explore the waters of beautiful Gull Lake.

Parents may register their children (ages 4 - 12) in the care of our dedicated Kid's Club staff and enjoy time alone or pursuing their own activities. Your children will enjoy their days filled with games, arts, crafts, swimming, adventures, and fun! Learning along with nature and exploring their time in Minnesota's lakes and woods. Children enjoy discovering nature and getting to know other children during their stay. All activities are age-appropriate. Lunch is served between noon and 1:00pm.

Must sign up 24 hours in advance. All children must be potty trained. Cancelation Policy: Fully charged for No Show. Half charge for cancelations after 6:00pm the night before.

Both Gull Lake and Roy Lake beaches have a variety of kayaks available for you to use during your stay. Explore the lake and paddle along for fun under the sun. Enjoy a picturesque sunset in the evening and enjoy the calm waters, or cool off during the afternoon heat. Life vests are recommended and are provided at the Boathouse Office. Paved Trails: The Paul Bunyan State Trail runs more than 100 miles from the trailhead in Baxter to Bemidji and has bragging rights for being the longest paved bike trail in Minnesota. Grand View Lodge features two tennis courts on property. Tennis is the perfect activity to enjoy the outdoors and get in some fun exercise. We provide tennis rackets and balls.

Our new recreation facility features a 3,779 sq ft indoor pool area with a waterslide, swimming lanes, and two hot tubs. Plus, we offer an expansive outdoor pool with a large hot tub area that is open year-round. Try our sand volleyball court for a little challenge and fitness fun. Bring your own ball or grab one from our Boathouse Office. Rally up a team and compete against other guests or have a little family competition for a bit of entertainment. This is a great way to ‘spike' some excitement into your day!

Garden Park, on our main property, has recently been transformed into a hybrid of golf, frisbee golf, and foot golf. The 7-hole course, is perfect for a quick par 3 course and features two putting greens as well. Garden Park is mapped out and intertwined between the Garden Cottage units - a beautiful location on the main property near our Recreation Center, NorthPark. New to the Brainerd Lakes Area, enjoy 15-miles of astonishing views while zipping along cables at the peak of Mount Ski Gull. The zip line is a two-hour tour from gear-on to gear-off with scenic views from the highest point around the area. The longest zip line will come in at more than 950 feet long and a rider can control their speed and braking. Riders will need to weigh between 70-250 pounds and be 10 years old or older.
