Whether it’s next to an outside bonfire with a glass of wine or sliding down a huge tubing hill—you are bound to have SNOW MUCH FUN at Grand View Lodge this winter. NUMBER 10: 15% off Mt. Ski Gull
Want to spend a day thrashing through the snow down some hills! Make your way over the Mt. Ski Gull where you can enjoy 15% off your ski, snowboard, or tubing pass for the day just for staying with us at Grand View Lodge. Just show your keycard at the ski lodge and start saving. NUMBER 9: Indoor Pool & Hot Tub
Warm up in one of two hot tubs with winter views of Gull Lake. The kids will enjoy playing in connecting swimming pools while having the time-of-their-life sliding down our 110-foot waterslide. Our pool area also includes three water fountains and two water guns. Your whole family is guaranteed to have fun!
NUMBER 8: Great Local Fun
In the small town of Nisswa, Minnesota, there are big things to explore. Make your way downtown where you can shop at cute antique stores, boutiques, and craft stores. Grab a cappuccino from a local coffee shop, and enjoy a book from one of the local bookstores. NUMBER 7: Beer
Yes, we said beer. New craft breweries are popping up all over the area including in Crosslake and Crosby. But we have four close by including Big Axe Brewery and Gull Dam Brewery in Nisswa and two really cool taprooms in Brainerd including Roundhouse Brewery in the Clock Tower at the Northern Pacific Center and Jack Pine Brewery just off 371 in Brainerd. Stop for a sip or grab a couple growlers on your way to the Lodge. Otherwise, don’t forget our Northwoods Pub has all MN beer on tap if you are looking for some north shore or urban flavors you can’t get enough of.
NUMBER 6: Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
Enjoy skiing and snowshoeing and explore over 20 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails through The Pines Golf Course. Bring your own skis or snowshoes or use ours from our Pines Winter Activity Center included with your stay. Also check out our lighted skating rinks as well. Bring your own blades or use ours. It is sure to be a fun time!

NUMBER 5: Ice Fishing
Join in on a true Minnesota experience by Ice Fishing! Enjoy Gull Lake’s bite during the winter months. Rent one of our fish houses or bring up your very own. Grand View also offers an Ice Fishing 101 activity with our seasonal fishing hosts– enjoy a few hours on the lake in this family-friendly introduction to ice fishing! We also have a Guest-Only fishing derby during our MN Nice Daze with a chance to win some great prizes.
NUMBER 4: Dazzlin’ Deals by Glacial Waters Spa
Our Dazzlin’ Deals makes for a great excuse to visit us during the weekdays of January. The service menu offered through our Glacial Waters Spa features a festive theme and discounted pricing. With each day having special services (Monday through Friday,) it’s a relaxing and renewing opportunity you don’t want to miss! Then just relax in the evening by your fireplace in the cabin and sip some wine. Well deserved.

Here you will find premium craft steaks, along with local fish and produce—prepared with care. CHAR also features Minnesota beer, spirits, and a unique selection of Old World, New World, and Minnesota wines. Smoked, seared, roasted, or grilled; we let our craft speak for itself. CHAR is located where the Lodge Dining Room used to be and is in the heart of the Grand View’s Main Lodge. (Don’t forget Cru Wine Bar and Northwoods Pub if you want something different!)
