Ice Fishing Extravaganza: January 28-30

The Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza is the largest ice fishing contest on Earth, and better yet, proceeds go to over 50 local charities. Over $4.2 million has been donated since the event was first held in 1991. More than simply a fishing contest, this event has quickly turned into a statewide tradition, and Grand View is the perfect place to celebrate from!

Guests that book a stay with us receive access to our guest-only hospitality tent stocked with complimentary beer, hot cocoa, chili and hot dogs, bonfires, heaters, and spacious seating areas. Take a break from the exciting action on the ice and warm up with fabulous food and beverages prepared by our staff.
