Grand View Lodge ranks in Condé Nast Traveler and World Golf Awards
Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards
Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards with Grand View Lodge recognized as the #5 Top Resorts in Texas and the Midwest. The awards are determined by a survey administered to all readers. Winning resorts and hotels are rated on a variety of criteria, including food/dining, location, overall design, rooms, and service. Another one of Cote Family’s properties was also named in this survey, Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, AZ which took #2 in the Southwest.
“Over 429,000 dedicated readers cast votes,” said Cote Family Destination’s Director of Marketing Frank Soukup. “It is an honor to have Grand View Lodge be in the top five. It shows how great our staff is performing and how well known we are as a resort.”
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.” Under Editor in Chief Pilar Guzmán, the Readers’ Choice Awards have become more selective and specific to the passions that inspire today’s travelers.
The Readers’ Choice Awards were announced in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler. The full list is published exclusively online.
World Golf Awards
Grand View Lodge was recently named Minnesota’s Best Golf Hotel in the 5th Annual World Golf Awards. The formal announcement took place in La Manga Club, Spain the beginning of November.
The World Golf Awards serves to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world-class courses, and golf destinations. While celebrating and rewarding excellence across golf resorts, courses and the golfing destinations throughout the world, the 2018 World Golf Awards strive to ultimately raise the golf tourist customer experience and stimulate both the domestic and international golf tourism market.
Votes are made by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry - senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and media professionals. Votes may also be cast by the public (golf tourism consumers).
Votes are submitted online via the World Golf Awards website. The winners of each national category will go head-to-head with the winners of the other countries before the unveiling of the World Winners.
