doNorth App makes a Huge Difference in Vacationing
Introducing the Grand View Lodge “DoNorth” app that provides access to a wide variety of hotel amenities during your stay. From tee times, dining reservations, activity sign-ups, housekeeping requests, stay info, and resort announcements—you’re sure to get more out of your vacation.
This app, which is available on Apple and Android devices, provides you with a multitude of information all at the touch of your fingertips.
Installing the App
Go to your Apple Store or the Android Google Play and search “doNorth Grand View Lodge” and download the app. From there you are brought to a screen to register and login. Enter in your email, first name, last name, and mobile phone number.
Activities
Adventure at Grand View Lodge awaits for all ages. No matter what the season, there is always something to do. View the most up-to-date activity calendar on the mobile app. Interested in signing up for an activity with your friends or family? Look no further. You can right from the app. Displayed, you will be able to see the activity, its description, the time, and how many spots are left.
Select the activity to sign up for, input how many adults and children, and book. From there you will be added to list. If the event you are signing up for cost money to attend, the charge will go towards your room and payment will be due at check-out.
Tee Times
Enjoy a game of golf at one of our richly landscaped courses The Pines or The Preserve. Book your tee time on the mobile app. Select the date, time, and the number of players.
My Stays
Under my stays, you will be able to see stay information and invite others staying with you to have access to so that they can schedule activities as well.
Resort Schedule
This is the NEW, live resort activity schedule. Skip the Northwoods News, save paper and check your phone for the activity calendar and hours of operation. This easy to read schedule showcases everything from activities, spa hours, pool facility hours, dining hours, and more. The activity calendar is continuously evolving; if there is a change in timing, this will automatically update.
Wine & Dine
View descriptions of our restaurants and make reservations for dinner. Reservations are recommended at buffets, Cru, and CHAR. This tool makes it simple to get your reservation in. Click “Make a Reservation” and select the date. From there, the app shows how many spots are remaining at each time slot. If there isn’t an opening during the time that you had hoped for, you can always call our concierge to see if there is anything we can do to accommodate you and your group. Let us know if you have a special celebration, birthday, or anniversary by typing it in under “requests.”
My Agenda
The best part of the app, after signing up for activities, making tee times or spa appointments, you can view an itinerary during your stay under “My Agenda.” This will help organize your vacation and make better use of the time. Time is the most important thing for our guests. You aren’t going to get yesterday back, so we wanted to capitalize on that by creating something that is productive, efficient, and allows you to create even more memories with us during your stay.
GVL Announcements
The app will show current promotions that the resort has published. From spa discounts and offers to events and more, you will be able to see firsthand and get notified when something has been added new.
GVL Housekeeping
This is a 24/7 automated concierge service that allows our guests to play any housekeeping requests from the convenience of their phone. From requesting more pillows and towels to silverware and more, this tool will send messages to our staff to help improve your stay.
There is so much that our app can do to help improve your vacation. We know that nothing replaces the service experience with our friendly and well-trained staff, but we also know that technology is increasingly changing and many people prefer to manage their lives (and travel) through a device. The doNorth mobile app will allow you more time to make memories!
