Experience one of Minnesota’s most popular resorts and book one of seven amazing deals this year. Grand View Lodge is listed as WCCO’s Reader’s Choice Best Staycation! With their recently opened new recreation center, NorthPark, there’s more to do while we wait for that blustery Minnesota winter snow to melt.
After the 2018-2019 winter, every person in the state is patiently waiting to see green instead of white. That weather is nearing, with monthly forecast averaging in the high 40’s.
1. Island Escape Package – the perfect spa vacation for you

Skip the palms and vacation here. Grand View Lodge’s Island Escape package offers deluxe lodging with breakfast buffet daily starting at $130/night. Glacial Waters Spa has curated a service menu with the scents and services from the tropics. The Island Escape Services are offered Monday through Thursday. The public is also welcome to book these deals as well.
Island Escape $89 services include:
Island Relaxation Massage
Shorter days and colder temperatures leave many to feel lethargic, which is why getting a regular massage is essential. It helps to improve mood and reset your body for better sleep and better energy. It’s like getting your mini vacation on the beach without actually getting to the beach.
Island Relaxation Facial
Winter is the best time to treat yourself to a facial. Ultraviolet rays are lower during the winter. Some ingredients can increase photosensitivity and pigmentation with sun exposure. Skin cells tend to turn over more slowly in the winter. Treat yourself to an island relaxation facial and revitalize your skin.
Island Escape Exfoliation
Island Calming Waters is a massage with a Vichy shower hydrotherapy. The Vichy Shower has seven adjustable shower heads to caress your body under an invigorating waterfall. Pattern, placement, and temperature all enhance this service.
Island Escape $59 services include:
Island Escape Manicure or Pedicure
It’s not a trip to the islands without getting your nails done. Enjoy a manicure or pedicure with products and scents from the islands.
