Voted Best Resort For Kids by Star Tribune

While Grand View Lodge is a premier golf and spa destination, generations of guests have been found to return time and time again for not only the opportunity to relax and unwind – but because their kids love it here. It’s no wonder that Grand View has made the Star Tribune’s “Best Of” list two consecutive years in a row – Best Resort for Families in 2012 and Best Resort for Kids in 2013.

“There is literally something for everyone here, regardless of the season,” said Andrew Huebner, Director of Resort Amenities. “This summer we will be offering a lineup of activities that is the best yet to come from Grand View.”All activities are complimentary to guests, excluding a select few programs such as paddleboard yoga, tennis and the Kid’s Club and Kids Night Out – which offers supervised daily children’s programs for guests ages 3-12.

For those kids who love the water, we have plenty to offer them! First and foremost, our 2500’ of sandy beach on Gull Lake and 110’ waterslide guarantees hours of fun building sand castles, swimming in the cool lake and playing water wars. Other water activities include pontoon fishing, wakeboard and ski school, water tubing and riding our banana boat, which the whole family can ride.

If they prefer land activities, we offer tennis and golf lessons, horseback riding, mountain biking and bingo. Kids can spend the evening making s’mores around the campfire to finish off their long day of fun. “We make every effort to expose our young guests to all of our resort offerings such as golf, tennis or water sports while they stay with us. We believe this is the very essence of our mission of creating memories that will last a lifetime,” said Heubner.
