Resort Information

  1. Payment Methods

    A credit card is required at check in. Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover are accepted at any of our locations. Approved Personal Checks. ATM on the property.
  2. Service Charge

    The service charge covers gratuities in your specific package. Additional incidental spending may be tipped at your discretion. The Service Charge is not the property of any specific employee and is distributed at the discretion of management.
  3. Check-in/Check-out

    Check in is after 4:30pm on your arrival day. Guests are welcome to arrive early and enjoy our recreation facilities. Check out is 11:30am.
  4. Pet Policy

    Grand View Lodge has a limited number of pet-friendly accommodations available for rent (pets 25 lbs or under). A pet fee will apply. Please inquire when making your reservation. Nearby boarding facilities for your pet – Northland Pet LodgeStay & Play Pet ResortBed & Biscuits Inn.
  5. Fireworks

    For the safety of all of our guests fireworks(of any kind)and sparklers are not allowed on any of the resort properties.
  6. Airport Shuttle

    Transportation from the Brainerd Airport can be arranged for an additional charge.
  7. Smoking Policy

    Guests should refrain from smoking in all units. Additional charges will apply to those units in need of extra cleaning.
  8. Resort Attire

    Dress is casual throughout the resort. Please no athletic shorts, tank tops, casual hats or baseball caps in Grand Dining Room or Cru for the evening meal. 
  9. Firearms

    Firearms are prohibited from all Grand View Lodge properties.
  10. Noise Policy

    Please respect other resort guests between the hours of 10pm-7:00am.
  11. Reservation Deposit

    To confirm a reservation, we require a deposit equal to one nights lodging for up to a four-night stay, two nights lodging for five nights or more. Remaining balance due at check-in. Not applicable to all packages.
  12. Reservation Change/Cancellation Policy

    Guests are financially responsible for the full length of the reservation. Any cancellations received within 7 days of arrival date, payment will be processed in full. Cancellations received 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date are subject to a $50.00 processing fee. If you cancel within the 60 days of scheduled arrival date, you will forfeit your deposit and your room(s) will be released.
  13. No Show Policy

    Rooms will be released at 8:00am the day following the reservation, and the complete balance will be processed with the credit card on file. For group reservations, please refer to group contract.
  14. Package Changes

    We reserve the right to alter packages. Rates confirmed in your reservation will be honored. Vacation rates are not valid for any conference or meeting.
  15. Debit/Credit Card Users

    When you present your credit or debit card at check-in, our credit card system automatically reserves the amount of your stay, plus an additional 20%. It can take up to ten days for this amount to be credited back to your account. If you wish to avoid this amount from being taken out of your banking account, please provide us with another credit card at check-in. If you would like to put your final bill on your debit card, you may switch the form of payment to your debit card at check-out.
