Summer Activities
There's no end to the fun you can have at Grand View Lodge during the summer season. With the warm sun, pleasant days, beautiful Gull Lake and splendor of the great outdoors - choosing from our array of activities may be the most difficult thing you have to do!
We offer structured and free-style activities for all ages. Check out the activities listed below and please feel free to speak with our social director to find out about special events.

Beach Activities
Enjoy our 1,500 foot expanse of natural sand beach on beautiful Gull Lake. Lounge on the beach, enjoy a swim, or sit back with a good book and stay all afternoon. We provide a large variety of water sports including fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and pontoons. We also offer waterskiing and tubing.
Indoor Pool & WaterslideIndoor Pool & Waterslide
Our aqua facility features a 110-foot indoor water slide, connecting swimming pools, two hot tubs, three fountains and two water guns. Located near the beach and next to Loony's Snack Bar, your whole family will have fun!
Fitness RoomFitness Room
A fitness room is located on the upper floor complete with a ten-station Universal Gym, exercise bikes, free weights, treadmills, cross trainers, mats and more.
Game RoomGame Room
Our game room, located in the lower level of the Main Lodge, offers plenty of fun with video games, billiards and table tennis.
Wine & CulinaryWine & Culinary
Partake in our wine tastings and special culinary experiences. Located in the Headwaters Private Dining, and led by our sommelier, you'll enjoy learning about the art and culture of fine wines.

Take a special retreat and enjoy the massage and beauty treatments at Glacial Waters Spa. Perfect for rejuvenating, renewing and enjoying the summer season.
Fishing & BoatingFishing & Boating
Gull Lake is famous for its Walleye, Northern, Trout and Bass. Launch your boat, rent one of ours, or take a pontoon fishing excursion. A limited number of boat lifts are available to handle weights of up to 2,000 or 4,000 lbs. Please reserve a boat lift at additional charge in advance. Please note that boats cannot be tied to beachfront docks overnight. Gull Lake is easy to explore and is connected by waterway to the Gull Lake Chain of lakes. Anglers may want to hire a fishing guide to locate the best spots. We can also advise you as to the latest fishing conditions.
Golf InstructionGolf Instruction
Whether you are a beginner or seasoned golfer, our golf instructors are here to help you fine tune your game. Individual and group instruction is available.
Hiking & NatureHiking & Nature
Explore our walking trails lined with thousands of flowers. Take a leisurely walk through our many gardens and wooded paths for a relaxing connection to Minnesota's summer beauty. The Paul Bunyan Trail is nearby and offers more than 100 miles of paved trails from Brainerd to Bemidji. Miles of trails are also available in the nearby Pillsbury State Forest.
Summer ActivitiesSummer Activities
Our social programs run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Typical weekly activities may include horseback riding, biking, water activities, bingo, bonfires, cooking classes, watercolor art classes and more. Please sign up at the lobby desk when you arrive or call ahead if your group is larger than 15. Most organized activities are included with your lodging.
