Nisswa Historical Depot, Pioneer Village Museum
June-September 2007

We will be open from May 26th through September 29th, Wednesday thru Saturday. You will get a glimpse of life in the late 1800's and early 1900's. You can see a school, bank, homesteads. livery museum & a summer kitchen building. Look at photos of founding families, resorts, businesses & churches as well as special artifacts & memorabilia.

Come and step into the past - fun for all!

Nisswa Turtle Races Date:
June-August 2007

Begins on Wednesday June 6th-will run every Wednesday thru August 22nd. A tradition for more than 40 YEARS! Races are open to all ages. We have numbered races as well as: tiny tots, locals, out of state, grandparents/grandchildren. Registration begins at 1pm with the races starting at 2pm. Turtle vendors are onsite to provide turtles for the races. Join in on the fun and try to be the Grand Champion!

Farmer's Market

47th Annual Gull Lake Yacht Club Fun Regatta

This is one of GLYC's biggest events that draws many boats in from the five state region. Friday, July 27th - Starting at 3 p.m. is registration and the 28th and 29th are the race days and festivities. Lunch is available at the clubhouse both days, and a dinner is held Saturday evening for sailors, members, and spectators to socialize and enjoy an evening of fun!

Fishing Has No Boundaries (FHNB) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to open up the great outdoors for people with disabilities through the world of fishing. Our event has grown from 35 anglers in 2003 to 110 in 2006. We are fortunate to have the support of many local organizations and businesses as well as the best volunteers one could ask for.
