This spring, the Grand View Lodge Social Department began offering a brand new and unique weekly activity – The Traveling Art Pub (TAP.) Similar to other programs in the Twin Cities, ours is done throughout the resort, and outside if possible depending on weather. “It’s a great way to ‘tap’ into your creative side next time you visit Grand View with our happy-hour styled art class,” says Director of Resort Amenities, Andrew Huebner.
TAP lasts 2.5 hours and provides attendees with an art teacher, entertainment and all materials needed for the night’s project. Enjoy a social setting with top-notch company, family or friends, plus enjoy chef’s choice themed appetizers and a thirst-quenching beverage.
At Grand View Lodge, the TAP is open to ages 15 years + and cost is $45 per person. Each week provides a different theme and artistic medium. TAP was originally created by a Brainerd Lakes mother-daughter team, Lisa and Sarah Stawarski. Their love of culinary and fine arts fused into a Minnesota favorite pastime.
